"Shotacon (ショタコン, shotakon?) is a Japanese abbreviation for the Shōtarō Complex, a term describing affinity or sexual preference for underage boys.
Modernly, shotacon artwork appears in numerous pornographic doujinshi and in anime as fanservice. As with its female equivalent, lolicon, the most explicit forms of shotacon artwork depict child sexual abuse and have been the subject of legal controversy." Personally, I am deeply disgusted by Shota-Con/Loli-Con. I know a lot of people here on dA find Shota-Con cute and what not and wouldn't hesitate to bash me over this. Just let me say this: This is merely my opinion on such a topic and I feel that I am allowed to express it, and so are you. Thus, I am going to ask you to refrain from flaming/ranting and bashing. I respect your opinion if you happen to differ from my views, so I can only ask if you can respect mine. If you use this, please  Disabled comments because I'm tired of getting death threats. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
